Your Gift Is Crucial
Rural poverty remains widespread in Latin America and the Caribbean, one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world. The challenge of The Tropics Foundation is to help these rural people increase their incomes through sustainable rural development initiatives that also protect the region's natural resources.
By contributing to The Tropics Foundation, you can help us
- improve the lives of rural peoples through sustainable agricultural development
- encourage the protection of the environment in which rural peoples live and work though keen management of natural resources
- educate tomorrow's leaders through master's and doctoral programs that address the technical, economic, social, institutional, and political realities of Latin America and the Caribbean
- offer practical technical training to thousands of men, women, and young people each year
Your support of The Tropics Foundation will help advance innovative, on-the-ground efforts in 17 countries through the work of the Foundation's internationally recognized partner, CATIE.
